As a white person in a commitment to ending white supremacy in my lifetime, the process of accountability is ongoing and based in relationship.

I am continually studying, reading and deepening my knowledge and study individually and in partnership both with other white practitioners, in white affinity spaces and in partnership with Black, Indigenous, People of Color.

I work in close partnership with the co-LAB Collective, a Black and women-owned consulting group. They have encouraged me to help create bigger community of white consultants who do racial equity and liberation work to build a community of practice. We launched our first cohort of 30 white consultants in 2022 and our second cohort in 2023.

I developed the Embodying Racial Justice program, in part to redistribute funds to Black-led organizing projects. Over the past three years, I have redistributed over $50,000 per year to Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity. I will continue to support their work and local Black, Indigenous and People of Color-led projects with 30% of the proceeds from all my courses.

Simultaneously, I redistribute 20% of my income to individual BIPOC leaders and organizations. Some of the groups I support include the Manna-hatta Fund, Neighbor to Neighbor MA, Vocal NY, Justice Democrats, and many others.
